CCTV systems are now being used within the UK by various agencies and private establishments. CCTV training is not only an essential element for those monitoring public space using CCTV equipment; it can also lead to large savings for any company that has CCTV in operation. The CCTV course is lead by our specialist trainer who has been involved in monitoring CCTV equipment and individuals through Private Investigations and surveillance. The ability for a CCTV operator to follow correct procedures whilst remaining within the Law is an essential factor in safeguarding the public and also successful identification and prosecution of criminals.
Who is the course for?For those currently working as, or wishing to begin a career as, a CCTV operator. On successful completion of the CCTV Training course and passing the required examinations delegates will be able to apply for an SIA licence as a CCTV operator.
What are the entry requirements?There are none, however basic levels of English literacy and numeracy are required. You must also be able to provide proof of identification and proof of address as per SIA guidelines.
How long is the course?The course is usually delivered over 5 consecutive days; however a more flexible option is available for group bookings.
What does the course involve?Delegates must complete and pass a core unit, as well as unit 1 and unit 2 as outlined below. Successful delegates will achieve a Level 2 Award in CCTV operations and allow delegates to apply for their SIA licence. The course requires you to undertake the role of a CCTV operator where you will track, log and report activities on a suspect or activity.

Door Supervisor Course - £200.00 +vat pp
This four day course is designed to assist companies in the provision of Basic Job Training (BJT) is part of the popular and ever expanding range of entry level training programmes, for specific roles within the security industry. It is designed to assist companies in the provision of BJT that meets part one of the SIA requirements for licensing and part two covers Communication and Conflict Management. The course content also complies with the recommended training syllabus in the British Standard for BS7960– Door Supervision.
Who should attend?This BJT is appropriate to new entrants to the industry; people transferring from other security functions, those with jobs including security elements and existing security staff requiring a qualification, in order to apply for an SIA licence.
What you will learn?The required level of knowledge and understanding in the aspects of Door Supervision as detailed within the course content.

Security Officer Training Course - £200.00 +vat pp
Level 2 Award in Security Guarding (Static & Patrol).
